our story and how we established the place
At Alfrink Cosmetics, we offer the personal attention of a family business backed by the assurance of scientific product development.
Frank Alfrink, the founder of Alfrink Cosmetic Ingredients, began his journey in the cosmetics and skincare industries by importing Emu Oil from Australia. Used medicinally by Aboriginal people for many millennia, Frank saw the potential of this therapeutic oil as the central ingredient in a range of dermatological products. Now joined by his son Bart, Frank has grown the business to offer a full range of therapies for numerous skin conditions. These laboratory developed and tested formulations have been used to treat psoriasis, eczema, dry skin and flaky scalp problems as well as burn wounds and scars. A range of clients, including plastic surgeons and tattoo artists, have drawn on the skincare expertise that Alfrink Cosmetics has to offer.
Sourcing quality raw materials for the cosmetic and skincare industries has become a central part of our company. In addition to Emu oil, we also supply pure Jojoba and Tea Tree oils for use in cosmeceutical and dermatological products.
The experience gained from developing our own products and our strong relationships with expert product developers has enabled us to expand into developing and supplying private label skincare products for other companies and practitioners.
